i'm quite fond of Yaoi myself. I don't exactly hide it but i don't go shouting it out loud. If i'm reading it i'm reading it. Mostly I like the story's with a bit of . . . story. Like Yellow. I like me my juicy stuff but the characters are more important to me. Another one I like that's pretty tame is Eerie Queerie.
As for my favourite couples I'd have to say non-canon I love Renji and Ichigo in bleach. Harry/Draco (draco's soo misunderstood T.T[jk]) After that on of my fav canon pairings is an obscure book. Vanyel and Stefan in Mercedes Lackey's Magic's Price. Or Silverfox and Firesong in some of her other stuff.

oh man hano/uryu would be either hilarious or start getting into some serious wierd kink. And i like she's a fantasy writer. The only books she has that deals directly with homosexuality or realisation of it is her magic trilogy. Magic's pawn, Magic's promise and magic's price. Though she's pretty accepting of it. even in her early stuff which would have been out in the 80's. Sorry I'm a bit of a bookworm so i tend to go a bit overboard bout it.

lol its certainly interesting. not too much explicit and not too fluffy either. and certainly the first and second does deal with h/c. so you'll hopefully enjoy it. I just hope you like the author's writing style and that

Mmmm yaoi~ <3 Junjou Romantica has to be one of the best yaoi anime I've seen; Hiroki is fantastic!!! Shikusho is pretty good too, though I wish it had been a bit longer The characters and the storyline is really interesting though. Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru is BRILLIANT. I got hooked the instant I started the first episode, though again, it would be nice if it were longer, or if they get a second series going. As for suggestions.... I LOVE Ikoku Irokoi Romantan. Especially as the voice actors for the main characters also play Renji and Ulquiorra from Bleach Added entertainment! Antique Bakery is another one I love. The characters are really interesting, and the premise for the story is hilarious xD Gakuen Heaven is a nice light shounen-ai Great for perking you up on a bad day because it's full of bishies!! Mirage of Blaze is another that I quite liked, though again, it's shounen-ai and not yaoi. I'd avoid the dub though, as to be perfectly honest, some of the voice actors didn't really sound that good to me If you're after something absolutely hilarious, go for Princess Princess! Basically a boy goes to an all-boys school where, because there are no girls, five (or four, I can't remember!) of the prettiest boys in the school have to dress as girls at social functions etc., and the main character who's new to the school ends up getting dragged into it! Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku is definitely yaoi I loved it though as the uke is so cute and totally innocent xD Though be warned, it does involve rape :S And also, mustn't forget Yami no Matsuei ;-) Sorry for the overload, but I thought I would suggest some of these in case anybody hasn't seen them

I know!!! I loved it too - though it has a pretty horrific thing in the story (i.e. the rapage), it's so sweet and I was just going "nyawwww" throughout the whole thing!! ^^" If you'd like to read a really sweet yaoi manga, I'd recommend Toiki Yori mo Yasashii - the storyline is lovely

B| Faye I like your taste; Yami no matsuei, Antique Bakery, Mirage of Blaze ~:> That said; i've been into yaoi for years :C I hate being shunted into the creepy '0mg y401! *pushes two male cosplayers together for giggles' type. /o/ There is a whole shelf of yaoi in my room! My best reccomendation for a yaoi manga would be FAKE! gargarstegosaurus.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/fake-manga-covers.jpg^just to show what the protagonists look like :> Another one to try is 'Café Kichijouji de' its a light shounen ai manga about a bakery with all male staff, the art is gorgeous as well! MINAGAWA <3I've read most of the usual yaoi/shounen ai manga that are available, and for a while I was into 'June' publishings. I'm not too keen on June anymore /sob I love yaoi like 'mans best friend' and 'wild rock' :>

B| Faye I like your taste; Yami no matsuei, Antique Bakery, Mirage of Blaze ~:> Arigatou~ <3 Yami no matsuei is so amazing. I really have to watch that again! Maybe even read the manga, hehe. One word: *nom* Hehe. That's actually on my to-watch list, so now that you've said it's good, I'll definitely read it!! Btw, has anyone read "Under Grand Hotel"? I still have to read Vol 2 but I did quite like the first one. Ohhh yeah, I started reading that online! I'm not sure where I got up to though, unfortunately I have the feeling I may have finished the second volume.... Here's another one I read a little while ago: Sono Yubi Dake ga Shitteiru (Only the Ring Finger Knows) - the artwork is really lovely And I looked on Amazon and there are novels too! Yay!

Oh PFF I've read Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku XD I like blushy bishies~ In all fairness, though, I'll read/watch pretty much anything :3 I'm a huge Loveless fan, though, but I usually... avoid saying I like it because of all the twelve-year-old 'OMG RITZUKA IS SOOOooOOo KAWAII!!1! omg'-type fans.... :'D

I love Ritsuka too, he's adorable ;___; I also really love the female zero couple too, but I shall not bring them into the yaoi thread o/ I think why I love Loveless so much, really, is that gayness is... not a big deal? It doesn't emphasise the fact that oh my, it's two guys / two girls!!, it's just... people, gender doesn't matter. It's adorable. Plus I am forever in love with the art style ;___;
