Hi everyone! Nice to see you all on the forums ^^ I hope you like the set up and whatnot so far.
To try and get some activity and some community interaction I thought this might be a good idea...
Though we have our default skin, colours and logo, I realise that such a light colour palette doesn't work for all computer screens etc. so here's the idea -
GRAPHICS COMPETITION!!!
Okay the easiest way to get a nice skin and colour set together for a forum is to make a logo first and steal the colours from it.
So we need a logo!
There are only 3 rules:
1) The logo must be 750 pixels wide and between 200-300 pixels high. This includes any borders added so please keep that in mind before you get to the end, want to add a border and have to do some resizing to make room for it.
2) I would prefer it if any characters or images used in the logo were lesser known ones. By all means make the logo that you want to but it would be nice to see something other than Bleach and Naruto if you get my drift. For example - anyone who knows the manga Love Celeb by Mayu Shinjo will know that the logo we have currently sports the narcissistic, perverted and wonderfully loveable Gin, but if you haven't read the manga the character isn't going to be familiar to you. You could even use totally non-anime related anime characters if you like...
3) The logo should include "JapanimeUK".
Post here any comments or logo entries and get ready to vote on them soon! If people wish to post that they are going to make a logo then we shall wait for that logo to be created. Once all the logos that have been promised have been produced I'll put them to a vote and the winner will be put up as a selectable theme for the forum ^^.

I am definitely going to have to get that code sharpish before anyone else thinks that this is Logo Design Comp for EACON though...
This was originally for JapAnimeUK as a forum but I shall be saving that image TonyB ;-) and it can also be included in the voting for an EACON skin for the forum ^^.
So yeah, it looks great ^^.
Anyone else got there on a completed image? ^^ |
