What the hell have you all been doing?!
I know that I've been speaking to a few people on FB and trying to encourage you all to get your friends here but my God!
You all have way too much free time on your hands to be recruiting like this and I love it!!! Lol.
Thank you so much everyone for passing on the message to those you know. I have been trying to reward people with upped Kudos, but it's a bit of a scattered thing. I think I'm doing okay with the How Did You Find Us thread helping me out...
But yeah... so! - lots of members! Wehey!
Shall we see if we can get to 40 by the end of the week? Lol.
I really want us to hit fifty actually I shall explain why -
I've said this to a few people but here's the low-down for everyone else:
Even though this is a forum in it's own right it is also the forum to support the convention EACON. Now we would like to get some awesome guests for EACON (obv) so the sooner we speak to them the better ^^. However, we can't speak to them until we have a proper venue and dates. To get that venue we need to have the dates we want so that we can say to the uni - we want to book it for this time.
Everyone with me so far?
Now to get those dates we have a poll on the forum to check that we at least aren't clashing with any huge con that people want to go to or exluding a huge area of people because there's some kind of event going on :S ((just realised that the Olympics start at the end of July... oopsie)).
Now me and faye want to make sure that at least a large number of people have voted on this poll before we can say - yep that would be a good weekend, and then we can toddle off to the uni and ask permission. We thought we should probably wait for 50 voters to vote on the poll. That seemed like a good enough number.
Ergo -
50 members = 50 voters = dates = booked venue = special guests asked early = more awesome guests at EACON.
Do we all follow?
So please please please can people try and help us get to 50 ASAP so that we can talk to guests ASAP? ^^ I know it sounds like I'm following a stupid rule that I made up myself but me and faye really think that this is the best way to do it...
Anyway moving on -
As we have so many members I just wanted to reiterate that if anyone has any suggestions for how to bring in nice schemes/clubs etc to the forum to make it more interesting for a wider range of people then the Suggestions sub-board in the Help and Suggestions thread is the way to go ^^.

WAHEYYY!!! I have been trying to get people's butts over here!!! Some have been amazing and listened - others haven't -kicks them- But they might be the sort of people to join once it gets more popular! ^_^ So you never know! - I shall try again later ;D
But yeah - Just say when and I will start trying to organise band correspondence (Y) haha
