Oh wow I really like these ^^ The first one is my fav ^^.
Hmm critique....
I don't do a lot of drawing but I could off you some advice in the anatomy of their bodies... You're very good at the muscle definition in their chests but I think the shoulders are a little undefined...
Shoulder muscles are easy to overlook but even if you want a slim guy they're good to put in ever so slightly and the body looks a lot more 3-D.
When the shoulder extends from the neck it starts out high and moves down to slope into the bridge of the shoulders. Another muscle then rises up from that slope and curves around to form the ball of the shoulder itself.
Here's a very basic thing I've drawn with my laptop pad on GIMP (aka it's shit but I hope it gets my point across).
Other than that I can't think of anything. I mean, a more angular profile to the sides of their faces would make them look more masculine but I like them how they are... :S It depends what you want from them as to what critique I can give... :S
But yeah, it's difficult to critique these anyway because I really like them ^^ Especially the blue/silver one ^^. |

and I do under emphasize the shoulders idek why, but thanks for this ;-; I just finally finished tweaking faces to not be retardedly long so next is body fixing! :>

Lol well a stronger profile would help in making the faces look less long, if that would help...?
30 seconds Spasmodic drawing no.2:
By emphasising the parts of the face that go OUT (the eyebrow line and the cheekbone) you create a sense of width. Same with the width of the chin (the flatter chin also makes for a more masculine face and indicates the gender of the drawing more). Drawing in the jawline helps with creating width too.
I think you're right - you've done great with making the faces less long and I think that they work perfectly ^^. I don't think they look too long at all. But if you're still worried then these are things you can do ^^. |
