Lol that's so not my area of music. I like music that has emotion that isn't just an emo stand against the world.... No offense or anything, you're perfectly welcome to love or hate them but I think they're emotionless and that's why I don't like them... :S

Well, it's not like Goo Goo Dolls are hugely dissimilar to what I listen to. That being said, I listen to GGD and Gackt, and have 4 off GGDs albums and most of Gackts This isn't a comparison of say RnB to metal  And really, the closest to "emo" I listed was the K!XXV show, though Still Remains are certainly not emo, and BfmV aren't despite what non-fans think. The rest are mostly nu-metal and similar. I'd certainly recommend giving Fozzy a listen, and a watch live, as Chris Jericho is a terrific front-man for the band and they have a crazy amount of energy and put on really fun shows and albums.

I wouldn't say emo music was just a stand against the world. It's just expressing emotion in a different way to, say, ballads. Seeing as "Emo" technically stands for "emotional hardcore", I'd say it's supposed to be pretty emotional, though to be fair, I don't really listen to much emo music myself. Though I have to say, that is pretty cool that you've seen Disturbed, Jim! I wouldn't say they were my top favourite band or anything, but I really love some of their songs ^_^ As for my gig experience, it's limited too, unfortunately.... I went to a Guides charity gig in Wembley when I was 12 which had Blue, Atomic Kitten and Darius xD Sounds lame, but it was cool at the time, damnit!!! Then I saw Velvet Revolver three years ago and managed to get a place right at the front! And yes, I will forever brag that I've been three feet away from Slash

*spoilers* I think The Girl Who Leapt Throuh Time should have ended when she got hit by the train towards the end. It would've brought the story full cycle in a poignant way. :'D Most people say I'm just morbid, but it would've been a good ending..! After that point, everything started getting unnecessarily confusing, and I was just sat there going '...what? Why are they doing this?' XD

p-printed media is great!! I always buy manga ;__; I was more referring to newspapers and magazines. I prefer my books, comics and manga to be physical, but for news, previews and reviews, I use the 'net. I imagine magazines still have some interesting features and articles, but not enough for me to track them down. Also how did The Girl Who Leapt Through Time win? I have that on DVD and I bought that in 2008 or the first half of 2009. Surely it shouldn't have been eligible to win what I imagine is a year end award.

I'm also a fan of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time so I get why it got an award. As to why it got an award in the wrong year... apparently the movie itself is capable of time travel? How very, very odd.

Super Ultra Mega Blah Blah Blah
Sorry for being out of the loop here for a while (probably going to jump back out again now). Busy trying to keep up with work at uni (and failing so far). The Girl Who Leapt Through Time hey? Need to get through that sometime myself. If people are looking for a good recent movie then try Summer Wars.

Definitely on my list of films to pick up, as I've heard all good things about that.
