Meh... I've said it before and I'll say it again, magazines and newspapers are a dying medium.

Oh, I agree that the printed press is a dying medium. One only has to look at the reactions of newspaper editors and the CEOs behind those publications - the Murdochs, both the father and the son, are a powerful example of this. I thought it was generally accepted knowledge that the internet had ushered in a new media era and that the music industry, printed press and advertising industry had all failed to prepare themselves and have yet to find a way to adapt to this new model, and as a result had cemented the end of these respective industries. To Shima: There are a lot of interesting articles about the death of the printed media at the hand of the internet. ^^ There is little talk of course about publications like Neo though. Instead the articles are more likely to talk about England's broadsheet newspapers and the media oligarchy. It's really fascinating if you take an interest in the political and financial ramifications of it all!

I would be interested in reading about the political ramifications of it. I've simply been imagining it as a case of the popular newspapers will be read online, rather than on print. I imagine there's a case for large sites such as MSN that cover news also getting some increased readership, but at the end of the day they mostly just re-publish news from sources like the Associated Press.

Fall Out Boy? I only ever hear of them when Wentz is with his wife Ashlee Simpson.
I have a lot of respect for Wentz as he was so articulate and active when he fought against Proposition Eight.

Why do you dislike them?
It's always interesting to here why people like a band - and even more so as to why they hate them!

Just find absolutely no enjoyment in the music they release. Quite the opposite in fact.
And no, I couldn't tell you specific reasons, as I don't see the point of listening to something I find no enjoyment in just to be able to point the specific reasons as to why I don't enjoy it.

Saying you "find absolutely no enjoyment in the they release" is specific enough for me.

I have to give the most annoying answer of all - okay that is an overstatement - I don't have any favourite music acts. @a@!!!
Do you have any, Cloud? ^^

MCR tops out the list and Panic! At The Disco round out the list. In terms of favourites, in no particular order: Metallica Fozzy Rise Against Alter Bridge Creed Journey Paramore Whitesnake Skillet Trivium Bullet For My Valentine Staind But that's just a tiny amount of the music I enjoy, and what I enjoy is tiny amount of what I have in terms of saved music
