Hello and Welcome from the admin staff of JapAnimeUK ^^. I'm sure my fellow co-runner shall be on here at some point to offer her hellos as well.
I'm glad you found us, I realise that our site is a little out in the middle of nowhere internet wise. We're hoping to up our advertising with the brilliant Twitter help of Colocrowbal and a Facebook page we intend to put up but at the moment we're a little out in the back waters so I'm glad you made your way here ^^.
Age, race, gender... it's all types of crazy when it comes to JAUK so please don't feel weird by your age - we really don't care ^^ we'll love you and overwhelm you just the same ^^.
I point you toward the Member Journals board (if you're not already there - I have yet to venture that far down the forum in my daily check), as setting up a Journal is a great way to get to know others on the site. If you're into Anime there is he Anime and Manga board or if you're interested in Asian Cinema it's the Film and TV board. We also have the Japanese Culture one you might be interested in ^^.
Aaaaanyway I'm rambling so yeah, I'm GemChan. Or Gem. Or Gemma. Or anything along those lines. Oi you works too. Feel free to ask me anything you're unsure of and I'll try and get back to you ASAP ^^
