Hi ladies and gents! ^^
Okay, I have a little recruiting request to make.
I think we can all agree that we need to try and start recruiting some brilliantly active members and one of the easiest ways the spread the word of our lovely forum is via the networking social sites we all know so well ^^.
I am therefore asking if anyone would be interested in running a page for our forum on the following sites:-
Facebook
- Twitter
- LiveJournal
- MySpace
We would also like to start up a YouTube page where we can favourite all of the videos people link to one this site so that we can go there and find them all in one place, which is a little different as most of your staff-ing time will actually be spent looking up videos on here rather than spreading the word elsewhere...

[b]Experience with Site:[/b]You can post your responses on this thread or PM an admin with them.
You need to be experienced and technologically/feature savvy with these sites if you want to apply. Also, you being active on them already is a huge bonus as you can prompt all your lovely contacts on there to go to the new thread.
THE WAY IT WILL WORK:
What we're going to do with these lovely sites is create a Networking Staff board on this forum, where a member of staff can post a message we want spread over the internet. It is the Networking Staff's responsibility to check that board regularly and reiterate anything we've said on the site they're responsible for.
Those that are our Networking Staff are the first impression many people are going to get of our forum, therefore this Staff recruitment is going to be decided only by faye-san and myself, not through seconding and polls.
Hope to see some responses soon as we want to get the word out about our lovely forum asap!! ^^
PS: with regards to the Twitter account: To those of you who don't know, Colocrowbal has kindly started up a Twitter account for the site already. Therefore, Colo, if you could post on here whether or not you're still interested in doing that please and you'll get first dibs ^^. Thanks. |

Experience with Site: I have had facebook before it got really Popular. I have also played around with the site and html coding. I have a group made for this site but I have it set to totally private awaiting on your approval.

Hey Neko ^^.
Wowee on the site for thirty seconds and you're already in on the action ^^ I love it! Lol.
Your experience with Facebook sounds fantastic. If you can do all the HTML stuffs does that mean you'll be able to make our page look different from normal? That question sounded really newbie-like but I only use Facebook for the basics lol.
Also - can you please add me on Facebook at Gemma Goreham (look out for DBZ image) and add me to the group as an Admin please so that I have full access to it.
Other than that I don't see why you can't run it for us ^^. As Faye-san and I will be telling networking staff what to post (for the most part) I don't think being new here will cause any problems at all.
So in other words - yes you can run our Facebook group for us ^^. But please can you send me that link to the group so that we can have a looksie round before you make it public? ^^ Thanks!

I sent you an invite to the group. it seems that facebook unlike myspace dose not use specific url addresses to pinpoint the group so all i can do is send you an invite and hope you get it. and i know basic HTML as it is a small hobby of mine. I not to sure if facebook is as customizable as myspace was but i can check into it.
EDIT: Or I could just make another profile for facebook If a group is not versicle enough kinda like what you did for Twitter.

I think we can do more if we create a page account for it instead but i need your permission before doing that as facebook has a statement of rights that state that i HAVE to be a rep from this ornization to create the page making an unofficial page goes against that statement so with your permission i can create it (this should give us more customization to the page.)
