Hey everyone!
Just to let people know, so that it's not a big shock later...
I'm designing a new layout for the forum again.
I realize that this is really soon after this one but there are practical reasons for this. Mostly because this layout is not working for a lot of people. I've had messages outside of the forum saying that the site is very slow to load. My guess is that the people who are on here regularly are those with the slightly more advanced graphics chips and decent internet connection. The forum is very image heavy at the moment but, unfortunately I've only been able to test it on my own laptop and university computers - both of which it works fine for so I didn't know it was so difficult to load other than a few members commenting that it was a little slower than normal when it was first uploaded.
Therefore, I'm starting work on a new scheme and layout that will (hopefully) be more contained and less image reliant. When I have one we'll be able to make lovely skins for it etc, and I hope that it won't be so hard to navigate and read.
Sorry for the messing about everyone. My only argument here is that we're relatively new and we wanna get the best look we can for the future ^^ Then we only have to make new skins when we want to make it different, rather than reformatting the whole thing ^^. |

Oh? It's true it takes longer to load and that might put potential visitors/members off.
*is mainly worried about the yaoi board misbehaving again*
I'm sure whatever you come up with will have a good look. And you're right, it's best to fix these things now while the site is still fairly new.

hey guys! Thanks for the encouragement ^^. I'm gald everyone's not moaning and groaning about the change...
And Flawless I'm going to do my very best to whack that yaoi board into shape. Hopefully it won't misbehave again - I'll make sure not to that the coding out when I reformat the site so that hopefully nothing will change in regards to that. However, if it does go wrong then we at least know the routine of how to get it working now, ne?
I'm waiting on some coding support from PB but I shall get the layout done as soon as possible. |

Lol, thanks guys. As this is an announcement rather than a feedback thread I'm going to make a new discussion thread about the new site when it's done. I'm locking this for now but we shall definitely appreciate your comments when it's all sorted ^^. |
