Hey everyone!
A thread recently started about the cosplay auction for EACON made me realise that we do not know exactly how any convention profit is going to work, and whether it, part of it or whatever will be going to charity. We shall be sorting this out closer to the time when we're able to estimate better the finances of the event.
However, provided that we do in fact have money to give to a charity at the end of the event I'd like to ask you all of suggestions on which charity that would be.
This is your convention so you're the ones to choose it. Closer to the time when everyone has had a chance to offer up suggestions I'll put it to the vote and everyone can choose ^^.
So yeah, this thread is probably going to be very long and ongoing but please feel free to make a (or even multiple) suggestions ^^.
Suggestions so far:- Cancer Research UK
- Aid to Hospitals Worldwide

I don't know any specific ones, but with the amount of animal cruelty that seems to be happening lately, maybe an animal related charity ;__; I read in a newspaper the other day that some people put a firework in a dogs mouth and lit it.

it is a very small charity that has 2 warehouses and a van, to store and move old unwanted hospital equipment, fixes it up, and sends it off to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. places that need the stuff we throw away because its out of date, or the newest model just came out. and I'm not talking a new microscopes. I'm talking old x-ray machines, beds and other such heavy items.
please give this some thought.
