a little help - Gokaiger

(sorry Gem i know its stretching the page a little)

So I want to do a specific cosplay however I’ve never stitched together a costume in my life, so I need a little help from someone who has talent, you guys are currently the best people I know for this sort of thing!

I want to create the clothing of the one and only Captain Marvelous from the new Pirate Sentai Gokaiga, here’s a few images:




So does anyone think they can help me make this? I can get screenshots from the episodes if need be for the more detailed stuff and i would be willing to pay for materials and labour.

i think i can grab the right type of shirt and trousers so its mostly the jacket and waistcoat that ill need help with. the boots i may have an idea to get.

look for the first episode, it will make any power rangers fan squeal like a piggy XD 34 sentai teams all fighting at once will do that to you :3 will be fun to see how the usa takes it considering we only have 16 or 17 teams :3

Ooohh wow that looks great!!! I wouldn't want to say anything for certain, but I reckon I could make the jacket.... Though because of the style, you may be able to get something similar on ebay and just customise it ^_^ Military style is apparently in fashion at the moment Do you have any photos of him without the red jacket on? It looks like a normal black waistcoat otherwise, which should be fairly easy to get, and adding red stripes etc. on should be pretty simple!

i can get pics easily enough i know theres one or two places in the show he doesnt wear the jacket

Edit: ebay and amazon doesnt really have anything suitible for the jacket.

A note about the jacket, whoever does it: Sewing wire into the hems would be really good for this - you could make the edges stand out and the collar stand up - it would look really cool.

I reckon you should get a group of people together to be the other four ^^ Do a group cosplay! ^^.
