Hey all! This is where you can leave your comments/questions about the new layout and design of JapAnime. We always want to hear your thoughts and see if we can use them on the site.

Great work Gemmy Gem! I love the sidebar, the squiggly font and the pretty pictures! The site also loads quicker than the old one, and the yaoi board is behaving so far.  EDIT: I've noticed a couple of things now. I miss not having the private message box at the top anymore. I know all I have to do is scroll down to the bottom but I quite liked having it right there. But it's no biggie, that's what it was like at the very beginnig if I remember correctly? What I do suggest having back though is that aften you've made a post in a thread you see the topic root on top of the page so you can head back to the topic, section or board with one click instead of having to either go back to 'home' and go to your desired topic there or scroll down to the 'forum jump' and re-route through there. Like I post in the 'Yaoi and BL games' thread and on top it will say "Discussion and Debates -> Anime and Manga -> Yaoi and Shonen Ai -> Yaoi and BL games". So I could go to the anime boad, or the overall discussion board by just clicking on the relevant link. I hope you know what I mean by that, my terminology is probably not right. |

Lol, No I get what you mean Flawless. The links you're describing are called the Navigation Bar and it sits at the top of the forum. And you're right, I very much miss it too. I originally removed it so that it worked with the main page, however, I think you're right and that it looks fine to have it on the rest of the pages so I have now edited it so that it is there on every page except the main pages. Hope that this is better for you Flawless ^^.
Also, about the personal messages - the first link in the portal is to your personal messages as people asked before for a link near the top rather than at the bottom. I hope this helps. I'm currently trying to work out how to put the personal messages into the menu bar without everything getting upset so please bear with me.

Thanks for bringing back the navigation bar (yes, this old dog can still learn new tricks!), it makes everything so much easier! And I hadn't noticed the portal has the link to messages, that's perfect! I shall poke Mokona from now on  |

it looks great, i love my kero! somehow he seems the type to use twitter and let everyone know the top information. I'll also say now its not just my tweets for the board there, its also important and interesting RE-tweets that will bring you great information on anime and manga and even cartoons in general! keep your eyes peeled for good info  |
