10 Members So Far!

Hey everyone!

Okay we have ten members so far on JapAnime UK (whoop whoop!). Hello to you all!!

I apologise if I have yet to welcome you personally to the site.

As you may or may not know JapAnimeUK if an alternative anime appreciation forum where you can discuss not only anime and manga but cosplaying, japanese culture, and the japanese language.

The site is not particularly full or overflowing with threads as yet but we really hope that that will happen in the near future. For that we need your help ^^


Now I know that a lot of forums try to do a whole "if you bring us people we'll love you forever" and I'm not about to go around and get on everyone's case saying "WHY HAVE YOU NOT BROUGHT ME MINIONS?!" lol, but the simple fact of it is that we're not going to get any bigger without word of mouth.

Therefore if any of you need an incentive, I'll up anyone's kudos by 5 points (giving you 50 overall Points) for each new member that tells me who recommended them. I realise that you can't spend these points yet but this is because of a stupid code that refuses to work- we shall make it work and then have some cool graphics and watnot for you to buy with your points.

For those of you who don't need an incentive to find people for the forum- thank-you!!! you just made my life a whole lot easier ;-) lol.

Put it this way people. If everyone here brought just 4 people to the plate, we would have 50 members on the forum ^^.

And please don't think that I'm getting you to do my dirty work - I'm going to be messaging and whatnot too ^^.


Er... yeah that's all I really need to say I think ^^

Oh, also, if and when we do get more members I shall be hosting a poll about ideas to expand the forum's facilities, such as maybe introducing clans or guilds or games etc. So if people come up with any good ideas for that then please post them in the Suggestions board ^^.


((btw - I've noticed that some people may or may not know how to access their personal messages. I do apologise - I shall go and put it on the using proboards section of the help thread. To access your personal messages there is a message on the main page at the bottom of the screen. In the Info Centre there is a line that says "message: X new messages: X". Click on either of the Xs and you'll get to your personal messages ^^ Sorry about that.))
