So let’s get this thread started with a ‘must play’ manga/anime style games for consoles and handhelds, with a short synopsis

-Persona 4
(Currently the easiest to get hold of)
You play the part as a new transfer student who is handed the destiny of solving the mystery of murders that have began to appear threw the small sleepy town, with new friends and the power of your now released persona you must travel to the mirror world to solve the murders committed by the shadows of the dark realm but also to find who is committing those murders in the first place!
The game is part RPG part Mystery and part dating sim with a group of great guys to become best friends with compelling story lines and a cast of beautiful woman to become involved with! It’s a great story for anyone to get into.
-White Knight Chronicles
You take control of your own hand created character as you join the group of the main character as there adventure begins as simple delivery service that ends up in a winding path to save the princess and don the forbidden power of the knights, vast suits of armour powered by the magic of the past.
This is the first in a 5 part series, not only is it a compelling single player it has a fully functional MMO mode allowing you to play your custom character in the vast world, build a town of your own and obtain items that will transfer back and forth threw single and multiplayer games, a good story and a good time with battles in mech like armour and massive beasts the size of castles, it is a bit slow to get going however.
