Crunchyroll has episodes 1-157 and then 266 onwards (up to 299 which is the latest), so that's partway into season 8 I think? they seem to be uploading them pretty swiftly as well, which is nice ^_^

As for me, I was upset that there wasn't an episode up today and that I have to wait another week for episode 303!!! *sniffle*

Sorry, I only just spotted your post!!! >__< Is that the part with Shusuke Amagai, the new Captain? If I remember correctly, that was just a filler arc. The problem with those filler arcs (there's another one later with called the Zanpakuto arc) is that they don't tell you when they're supposed to be happening. I tend to just pretend that whatever was going on in the previous arc (aka the Arrancar arc) isn't happening at the time (like alternative universe-ey kind of thing!), or, like you said, that it's set just prior to the Arrancar arc. To be honest, I doubt that the Captains will ever be replaced. Aside from this arc with Shuusuke, that is ^_^ Which is a shame, because it would be nice to get some new kick-ass Captains! Heck, Renji could be one! He's got his bankai going pretty good now!  BUT!!! I came to this thread because I have news!!! Apparently, Tite Kubo has said that there are only going to be two more arcs now that this current one has ended!!! O___O One will be short, running for six months or so, and the other will be much longer. So, whilst that means Bleach should be running for another 3 years, perhaps, THERE'S AN ENDING ON THE HORIZON!!!! *sob* I was kind of hoping that Bleach would just never end and I'd still be watching it when I'm 80 xD |

I wholeheartedly agree with you about the fillers.....  Though I would hate it, I don't see why they couldn't have put the show on hiatus for a few months so that the manga could get ahead a bit more. You're right though, the Arabian Nights fillers were pretty hilarious!!! xD |
